Latest: DU Admission Process
Hello Rishika,
Congratulations on your scores!
If you are trying to get asmission in DU colleges, you will surely be able to get admission, depending on what course you choose and if you have reserved seats or not.
If you come under any reserved category, it would be easier for you to get admissions in DU Top colleges like Hindu, Mirana House, etc with 94%. However if you do not have reserved seats, you can still get admission in Hindu in courses like Philosophy or Hindi. Courses like Hindi, Philosophy and Sanskrit usually have a lower cutoff even in top Du colleges, thus it is easier to get in.
However, if you wish to pursue anything else rather than Hindi, Sanskrit, Philosophy, you will be able to get admissions in colleges like Ramjas, Hansraj, Kirori Mal, Daulat Ram, which are among the most known colleges with good reputation located in North Campus.
For more information, please go through the last year's DU cutoffs http://www.du.ac.in/cut-off.html
Please make sure that 2.5% deduction is made if you wish to change your stream.
I hope this was helpful!
