Is it possible to get admission into nit after completing 3yrs diploma?
dear student
in order to get admission in NIT you are supposed to give JEE entrance exam.(JEE-Main and JEE-advanced)
The candidates who have completed their higher secondary education (PCM) are eligible to appear for the exam.
there is no lateral entry scheme in NIT. Diploma course is not considered equivelant to 12th.
you can get ditrect admission in second year of B.Tech in various state colleges.
hope this helps
All the best!!!
Hello
If you want to get admission in NIT then giving the JEE mains is important and the better the score and rank the better college you will end up getting, the eligibility criteria is compltion of 12th class with physics, chemistry and maths.
If the diploma is done after class 12th then its definately possible but if not then there are less chances of getting the admission.
Thank you
hello piyush tailor
sorry there isn't any provision for lateral entry in nits or IITs you could try some of the state govt owned colleges if you feel so.
all the best
No, to get admission in Any NIT/IIIT/IIT you need to pass class 12th board exams but since you have done diploma and you are not eligible for admission in them.
You can try for other top colleges which accepts lateral entry btech course.
Good luck.
