Without math in class 12, you can get admission in commerce but in some courses, not all. Likewise, without math, some colleges will take you in but some will not.

For example, in Delhi university, if you want to go for a basic Bcom you can go for it. But if you want to go for Bcom honours, sadly it won't be possible. On the other hand, in Mumbai University, you have a choice of Basic Bcom and a variety of self financing courses. You can get admission without math, in fact even if you have a science or arts background, you will get in.

Yes, it is possible to get admission in B.com program if the student didn't take mathematics in 12th commerce.You just need to have some basic knowledge of mathematics so that you can easily understand the subject such as Statistics, accounts etc. Here you don't need knowledge of complex maths such as trigonometry, complex maths, algebraic functions, integration.If you are not good at basic mathematics too then you have to do some more hard work than others to score good marks in your semester exams. It is advisable to start studying from Day 1 so that you can cope up with others in the subjects where you need basic maths.

Now for BCom Hons. you must have maths.Moreover, every university/college has its own criteria. If you want admissions in Delhi Univerity for B.com Hons. you must have opted mathematics in your 12th class. But many reputed Universities/colleges accept admission in B.com Hons. even without maths.
