is it possible to make an EWS certificate today for the Financial Year 2018-19?? i. e for back date.

You cannot get a backdated EWS Certificate. This is primarily because EWS reservation was introduced in the year 2019. And so the first EWS Certificate was primarily for the year 2019-20. So trying to get a certificate issued for the timeline when the reservation was not even introduced cannot happen. And while issuing an income certificate, the last 3 years of income details are looked into an then an Income certificate is given which is valid for 1 Financial year in the case of EWS.

No . The first EWS certificate is meant to be issued for the financial year 2018-19 as it always been issued for prior to the year of application .

Today, I attended SSC-JE 2018 document verification, they are saying you have to produce ews certificate valid for 2018-19, how is it possible now. They are taking undertaking that either I will submit ews certificate of year 2018-19, or my candidature will be cancelled. -Ssc-nortern region, pls guide what me and hundreds of other applicants can do.

+1 this issue is faced by majority of SSC JE Students. I have the same issue. They haven't mentioned about 2018 EWS at the time of Exam. What u people are doing about it?

hello shubham..plz tell what happened to you..did you got the job or not,,one of my friend is also in this kind of sitution he asked for ews certificate of 2019-2020 when he already has the certificate for 2020-2021..in which period the notification of the exam came and exam was held..how did you obtain the certificate..please guide
