Is it required any particular percentage in phy or chem or math for admission in IITs and NITs??
Hi,
The eligibility criteria for admission to IITs and nits is candidate should have at least 75% of marks in 10+2 or should be among the top 20 percentile of his board.
But due to covid -19 pendamic this criteria has been relaxed. Now a candidate who is passed in all subjects can take admission to these institutions. The admission will be taken on the basis jee main score.
So there is no specific percentage required for admission to IITs and nits as per the new relaxed criteria.
Hope it helps.
The basic eligibility criteria for JEE Mains that must be qualified to get into NITs and also,IITs as it acts as a preliminary test for JEE Advanced includes that you the candidates must have passed 12th from a recognized board with minimum 75 percent in aggregate or be in the top 20 percentile in their 10+2 exam. However, for JEE Mains 2020 all you need to do is pass 12th boards from a recognized board as boards were not able to conduct their exams in wake of corona virus.
