No, it's not at all necessary to be excellent in mathematics for MBA in Finance. Basic calculations like ratios, percentage are needed which one can do easily and even on excel.
Pros of MBA are you can get corporate exposure and work directly with top companies if you do MBA from good College. Having mangerial along with technical gives you edge over others.
Cons are if you are fresher then you may face some struggle but you can improve by doing live projects, internships.

It is not must that you should good at maths. Basically you have to deal with numbers so you have to be good in numbers and methodology. It is perfectly okay if you're average in maths. And it's not important you have to be excellent in maths.
MBA is two year post graduation course divided into four semesters. It's professional course which is related to business in different fields. It provides knowledge about various fields theoretical as well as practical like in HR, finance, marketing etc. Here students are more exposed to Industry and practical exposure.
