The JEE Main test can be taken three times in a row by students. Candidates can take the JEE Advanced exam a maximum of two times in two consecutive years.
Below mentioned is the JEE Advanced Eligibility Criteria for the year 2022:
Candidates for JEE Advanced 2022 must have been born on or after October 1, 1997. SC, ST, and PWD applicants, on the other hand, would be given a 5-year extension (born on or after October 1, 1992).
All applicants must have passed the 10+2 test for the first time in 2021 or 2022. If the result for the academic year 2019-20 is announced after June 2020, then candidates from that board who took their 12th standard qualifying test in 2020 will also be considered eligible for JEE Advanced 2022, if they fulfil the other eligibility conditions.
In the 12th standard (or equivalent) examination, a minimum of 75% of the total marks must have been obtained. The aggregate marks for the SC/ST/PWD category must be at least 65 percent.

After qualifying JEE Mains only then you can appear in JEE Advanced entrance exam.
You must meet eligibility criteria like age criteria, minimum 75 marks in 12 th standard in science stream from a recognised Board and 65 percentage for reservation category candidates, etc.
You will be eligible for JEE Mains in 3 consecutive years from the year you finish your 12 th standard including that year. JEE Advanced can be attempted twice in consecutive years.
