If you are not satisfied with your college with first phase counselling then you can go for applying for second phase counselling.Basically what happens in second phase counselling is your rank will be pushed by 1800 ranks furthur so there is slight chance to get other college.But second phase counselling could be a risk because once you apply for second phase counselling you should opt whatever college you get.if you dont like the college you got in second phase counselling you will not have any option to chose the college you got in first phase counselling,you should chose second phase counselling provided college only.so secon phase counselling helps you to secure other college but even though u dont like it u should opt because you applied for second phase.So the best thing to do is go with the college you got in first phase counselling or either apply only those colleges in second phase into which you want to go.If you get the college you desired in second phase you can go if you dont get any i repeat if you dont get any college you can continue with first phase counselling college but if you get any college you should go into college which is provided in second phase.for furthur info please check the following links:
