Hello Aspirant,

Hope you are doing great. M.A. in Economics is a postgraduate degree that may be completed by anyone with a bachelor's degree, whereas M.Sc in Economics is a postgraduate academic degree that can be completed by anyone with a bachelor's degree in science.

The type of course and programme you choose to pursue determines whether you should pursue an MSc or an MA. If you want a technical course, MSc economics is the way to go; otherwise, MA in Economics will give you the same skills but without the in-depth mathematical and statistical applications.
