Dear Aspirant

There is no talking or bill passed for merging of NEET UG or AIIMS UG for 2020. Many students are thinking that its for UG but that is not what happening here.

According to passed NMC bill (yesterday), there will be common entrance exam and licentiate exam (called as NEXT) that medical graduates ( at final year MBBS level for all the MBBS enrolled students in India. ) have to pass before practising or pursuing PG courses.

As for the NEET UG or AIIMS UG, there will be no change.

Hope this helps you.

Pratyush Mishra, the answer was regarding the merging of AIIMS UG and NEET UG for 2020 and the answer is simply no as there is no official circular. One should not worry about any changes in exams at the current situation as the ultimate thing at the end is going to happen, is filling up the OMR. I believe in giving correct and current information not something which is doing rounds. So there's no point in giving information which is not valid at the moment. And thanks for giving the suggestion for upgradation of my knowledge although it wasn't needed.

In doing so, the government has moved in the right direction, as there was resentment and a charge of elitism at the exclusion of some institutions from an exam that aimed at standardising testing for entry into MBBS.
