Any field that you pursue your graduation has some scope and nothing goes in Vain. Only you need the additional skills along with the technical skills to excel in your field.

Speaking of Civil Engineering, you can have plenty of opportunities in working in this. As more of the development are being done in various states, there are many more job opportunities for civil engineers for development of infrastructure, residential buildings, etc. Along with this, in many cities, development processes such as metro, flyovers, roads, highways are being developed, where there are opportunities.

You can also specialize in the field such as Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Structural Engineering etc and work as a specialist for that field. You can also start working as a project manager for various construction project and also start working as a consultant with a group of people, and work on the companies requiring your services in planning, designing and inspecting the works being done.

You can also work in public sector by appearing for IES, GATE etc.

Also, NIT warangal is very good college and placments are also pretty good for that college. So you will not face any difficulty in your career if you are hardworking. Also, improve your other soft skills to get an edge in your personality.

also NIT warangal is too good NIT for placements.

Dear student

Nit  is itself a very reputed college not only in India but also it is given preference in abroad also. And NIT Warangal is a good college. They bring a very good companies with decent package. It's  job rate for civil branch is 70% . If not job you can also try for PSUs and other government jobs. Generally,  the NIT Warangal graduates are very nicely placed and settled.  With average package being  6 LPA.

Hello aspirant,

Their are so many job opportunities for B.E./B.Tech. Civil Engineering graduates in Government as well as inPrivate sectors. Talking about Government sector, many enterprises such as ONGC, BHEL, IOC, PWD, Electricity boards, Town Planning department, NHAI, Armed Forces, Indian Railways etc requires qualified Civil Engineers. Salary scale is different in case of Private and Government sectors. But, the average starting salary is generally between 2-5 Lakh Rupees per year.

Talking about private sector, prime recruiters are Construction firms. One may take up following job posts in such firms-

-Project Manager

-Assistant Project Manager

-Site Engineer

-Civil Engineer

-Assistant Civil Engineer

-Purchase and Quality control Executive

-Planning and Design Officer

Graduates may also take up teaching job after completing M.Tech. course. Also, pursuing PhD courses will help build a career in the Research sector.

And nit warangal is one of the best college for civil engineering.

It is not true that Civil Engineering has no scope. Also, you are getting this branch in a top NIT, so you will defenitely have a greater scope in future.

Civil engineering has good scope in major multinationals, the construction industry and even defence or military services. Also, there are numerous promising opportunities for civil engineering  in both the private and public sector. With regards to the sector employed in, the range for the average salary lies  around Rs. 3-5 lakhs per annum. And from NIT Warangal youmay get upto INR 10 lakh package.

So, go for it.
