is it true that one gets better clinical exposure in a government medical college as compared to private and semi government ones ?

The notion in your query holds true most of the times. It is due to the reason that people prefer to go to Government Hospitals (attached with Government Medical Colleges) due to less treatment costs compared to Private Hospitals (attached with their college).


Since more people go to Government Hospitals, MBBS students come across variety of patients on daily basis and hence the clinical exposure they receive is profound.


------- but since the Medical sector in India is still deficit considering the population, hence people have to go to Private Hospitals and medicine students thus do get Considerable exposure.
