Is it true that scoring higher marks in wbjee math paper will fetch higher rank

Hello prabhat

Yes scoring higher marks in mathematics will fetch you higher marks because it comprises of 50% of the total marks.morover maths paper are slightly more trickier than physics and chemistry.And it is also challenging to complete the whole maths paper in given alloted time

So students who score well in mathematics paper gain advantage over other students.

Hello Prabhat, the JEE Mains paper is divided into three parts Physics,Maths and Chemistery and the marks arks are equally is divided among these three parts. So it is obivous thing that scoring higher marks in any one of these will improve your ranks. And your rank is decided completely on the basis of your marks.
