Yes, it is mandatory to get the Medical Certificate, as specified in the JoSAA official website, issued by a registered Medical Practitioner.

Kindly note that you shouldn't be using the Medical Certificate from 2019 or previous years but only use the current format.

You need to visit a doctor and get the details filled up. The most important ones being:

• Height
• Weight
• Chest Size
• Color Blindness
• Vision, Color Blindness, Uniocular Vision.

Make sure the doctor populate the fields without any mistake, signs and stamps it and fills the Registration Number of his license.
