Yes. You have the option of taking the mhtcet test.
However, the odds of getting into elite schools are very slim since places are allocated for students from Maharashtra. Non-Maharashtra residents are eligible to sit for the MHT CET. Applicants from outside Maharashtra may also be admitted without taking the CET. 15 percent of all Indian (excluding Maharashtra) candidates are admitted without taking the CET.
If you want to do well in jee mains, I would advise you to do so. You can get into Maharashtra institutions based on your JEE scores and via the all-India quota seats available. In jee, try to get a score of 150 or above. You have a good chance of getting into the top schools.
