Is it worth joining iiit lucknow? i m an obc candidate with 98.6 percentile, plz suggest some other good colleges for me with cs or IT brnch.

Dear Student,
IIIT Lucknow is a good college with almost every facility, his campus life, faculty, infrastructure everything is just fine, and they also have some real connection with IIIT Allahabad in terms of placements, but you will not be able to get the IIIT Lucknow because your score is not that much enough for CSE and IT branch.
According to your score your rank should be around 13-14K, you can check if by yourself through this link.
You have a good rank for the top colleges for for CSE and IT you need to downgrade your choice of college still you will get of the top IIIT with this rank, list of the some good colleges where you can get CSe/IT are listed below.

- IIIT Una
- IIIT Kottayam
- IIIT Dharawad
- IIIT Kalyani
- Central university of Rajasthan
- IIIT Agartala

Cuttoff for iiit luknow for an obc candidate (IT branch) is 5060. According to u i m not able to fetch a rank under 5000 in obc category?

One thing you need to understand is that they consider only general rank not the category rank in seat allotment, and according to your general rank you will get benifit of OBC category. I've already told you that your rank would be around 13-14K.

Last year my one friend has got IT there with a percentile of 98.12 and obc rank 5060.
