Hello,

M.S Ramaiah is the best college through comedk in Bangalore but on the other in these private college taking up core branches is a risk because ultimately you would be landing up in a bulk hiring company like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Cognizant

So, if you do not have any financial issues then i would suggest you to take up these colleges otherwise not. You can prepare for sde profile but you won't get a high paying job.

My main concern is will I be even allowed to sit in placements for these bulk hiring companies after taking a core branch like mechanical or civil if I know coding well? Is every branch allowed to sit in the placements for such companies?
