Yes GGSESTC bokaro is worth doing engineering.

In terms of faculty college is very good and satisfactory. The course is quite tough but the motivational classes are often carried out in college.

The condition of labs and lab devices are good.The Placement scenario is good here and maximum placement is for CSE branch. The companies like Adobe, microsoft, tata visit the college, so the job oppurtunities are excellent.

But the only thin g where college lacks is infrastructure. College needs little bit of development in this area.

You can get a good gate score irrespective of what college you have a degree from. Private coaching is the best way to go. The college you have mentioned is a decent college, with good faculty. The placements aren't great. They are just decent. There are not many companies visiting this college. If gate is your primary concern, you don't need to worry about placements.
