Is it worth to join NIT andhra pradesh metallurgy
Dear aspirant,
If you were to take my opinion I think it is better to go to a government college rather than a private college. Because you are also getting a brand name along with government college .
And if placements is considered it's average . The average package is around 5-6 L for the metallurgy branch. Companies like vedanta, jindal steel comes for recruitment. There is also scope non core areas like data science.
Hey aspirant,
Hope you are doing well. If we talk specifically about your college then it's a NIT and yes they do have a brand value. If you are getting an opportunity to join the institute you must consider this as a wonderful opportunity for yourself. Now, metallurgy is not a preferable Branch for most of the students. But here is a thing that if you don't know your interests and want to explore yourself then NITs are the best place. You can learn and grow here. Even if your interest is in coding then you can join a minor course in it and practice as much as possible. You can build multiple opportunities for yourself if you can introspect and find your interests.
Make sure you take your own call based upon your interests.
Hope this helps
Hello!
Metallurgy is an evergreen branch and the seats for metallurgy is less compared to other branches like mechanical, electrical etc but since NIT Andhra Pradesh is a relatively new institute, and is still in the budding stage so it’s placements are average!
Best of Luck!
