According, to careers 360 Jadavpur university and top NITs have same ratings that is AAAA+ which means outstanding.

Ratings are based on Placements, Faculty, Cut-offs of national / state level Entrance exams, Accreditation and Reward status and Publication record from Elsevier’s indexing database - Scopus.

If we check the NIRF Ranking then top NIT is in 11th position and Jadavpur University is in 9th Position.

Both are good options it's totally upto student choice and preference in which institute he/she opt for
