Hello,
Under the Jagan Anna Vidya Deevana scheme, financial funds will be provided to all of the students who wish to pursue higher education but are unable to do so due to financial constraints. The reimbursement of the given fees shall be directly credited into the mothers’ account of the students in four installments annually.
Eligibility Criteria: -
- Under Jagan Anna Vidya Deevena Scheme, the fee of students belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, backward classes, economically backward classes and differently abled categories will be reimbursed.
- Any student whose annual family income is less than Rs. 2.5 lakh is eligible under Jagan anna Vidya Deevena Scheme.
- Those with 10 acres of wetland and 25 acres of dry land are also eligible for the benefit.
- There is no income limit for students hailing from families of sanitation works and those who are professionally dependent on taxi, auto, and tractor. However, the income taxpayers will not be eligible.
Courses that fall under this scheme are: -
- B.Ed.
- MTech
- M. Pharmacy
- MBA
- UG/PG Course
- B. Tech
- B. Pharmacy
- ITI
- Polytechnic
- MCA
The scheme also mentions certain important guidelines for the applicants: -
- If applicant is having attendance less than 75% then fee reimbursement is not applicable for them
- This scheme is not applicable for the students of private or deemed universities
- For distance learning and correspondence courses Jagan Anna Vidya deevena scheme is not applicable
- For candidate belonging from management and NRI quota are not included under this scheme.
