Aspirants must qualify one of the national level entrance exams such as JEE Main, IITJEE-AAT, and NATA exams in order to pursue undergraduate architecture course in the top B Arch colleges in India.
Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) is a five-year undergraduate program after Class 12th with a minimum percentage of 50 marks. There are around 350 B Arch colleges in India that offer undergraduate architecture courses based on the scores from JEE, NATA, and IITJEE-AAT. Colleges such as NITs facilitate admission on the basis of JEE Main Paper-2 scores. IIT-Roorkee and IIT- Kharagpur are the only two B Arch colleges that offer admission to the students based on the qualifying exam Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) along with IITJEE exam scores. Candidates must possess mathematics subject in their Class 12th to appear for the qualifying exams mentioned above.
