JMI stands for Jamia Millia Islamia and no jmi is not conducted entrance test for btech this rather jmi is enrolling the students based on their JEE Mains Marks.

Eligibility for applying in JMI :

1) Candidate should have Sr. Sec School Certificate with Physics, Chemistry, Maths as main subjects from a recognized board with atleast 55% marks in PCM

2) Candidate should must have appeared in JEE Main paper 1 and should have submitted his 12 digit JEE Main 2019 application no. in his form

3) Candidate must apply separately jmi besides his jee main exam
