Hello candidate. Yes, Kanpur University is good for IT. Information Technology (IT) is a branch of Engineering which deals with programming and is completely software side. IT syllabus is simple and easy. Kanpue University is good in all the aspects. The college has good infrastructure and facilities. The faculty here are well experienced. The placement cell is good in the college.

The placements of UIET are not any different from other engineering colleges. The average salary package offered was around 3 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 7 LPA, and the lowest was 1.5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys and Jagran Group visited the campus. Even many other companies also visited here for placements.
