Dear Jyothi, if you want to study B.Pharmacy in Kerala, then KEAM is the State level entrance examination for admission to Engineering and Technology and Allied Health Science courses. KEAM is only valid for Kerala. However, if you want to study B.Pharmacy else where like in any other State, you have to appear for their State Level Entrance Examinations. So, just to answer your question, if you want to study B.Pharmacy in Kerala, then yes KEAM is important.

If you have done good in JEE main paper 2 than you may get a good college without appearing in keam but if you have not appeared or not done better in jee main paper2 and want to take admission in Kerala you have to appear in keam.
