Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, formerly KIIT University, is a private institute deemed to be university located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. It is DCI and INC approved and NAAC accredited grade A college which was established in the year 2002.
It offers UG, PG and Research programs in various disciplines through its different schools. The admission to B.Tech/ BBA/ B.Sc/ Bachelor of Design/ BA-LL.B/ BBA-LL.B/ B.Sc-LL.B/ B.Arch/ B.Sc (Nursing) & BFTP programs is granted on the basis of score in KITEE followed by counselling. It also offers scholarship to needy and meritorious students. The minimum eligibility criteria for B.Tech is 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics with 60% marks in aggregate.
It has separate hostels for boys and girls, library, auditorium, cafeteria, sports, gym, wifi, hospitals, transport and swimming pool.
The placement of the college is fine. The placement cell offers Internships and job opportunities to students. For CSE, IT and ECE almost 90% of the candidates get placed.
