Dear Minna,

According to a US study in 2016, Radiologists who graduated from Medical school after 1940 did not face an increased risk due to radiation-related causes such as Cancer or cardiovascular diseases.

It is found to be due to the advancements and improvements in protection, monitoring, equipment safety for handling the radiations.

However, low to moderate doses of radiation were associated with circulatory diseases and strokes.

Hope this helps!
