Alena, CLAT 2020 itself is yet to be conducted and so it is too early to talk about 2021. We shall give a glimpse of CLAT 2020 syllabus so that you know how to prepare a hear ahead. CLAT is a 2 hour test with 150 MCQs. Each correct answer gets you 1 mark and wrong answer takes away 0.25 marks. The exam is divided into 5 subjects:
English
Current Affairs including General Knowledge
Logical Reasoning
Legal Reasoning
Quantitative Aptitude
Instead of Legal Aptitude, it is now Legal Reasoning. Legal Reasoning section has passages of 450 words each which may relate to fact situations or scenarios involving legal matters, public policy questions or moral philosophical enquiries. You need not require any prior legal knowledge. General awareness will do. You have to identify and infer the rules and passages set out in the passage and apply those rules to various fact situations and understand how changes to the rules or principles may alter the application to various fact situations.
