The linguistic minority in NEET exam is a type of quota given to the students depending on their domicile or mother tongue. If you want to know about the quota in National level or in the State level of Karnataka where linguistic minority status is given to Tamil, Telugu, Kodava & Tulu of Karnataka only. So, it varies for the colleges depending on their location. Whereas some of the national level colleges like AIIMs don't have any quota like this.
I hope my answer helps you. All the very best for your future endeavors!
I dont think linguistic minorities exist. However, minor/backward castes/religions do exist(reservations).
Seats are not given on the basis of language but on the basis of reservation everywhere.
example: St. Johns Bangalore, prefers christians/converted christians. I.e, theyll be given priority to seats. You can firgure this out by reading their brochure or looking into the previous years admission list.
If you have qualified , and if you are capable you can get management seats.
Due to reservation ,for instance, a person at 100th position may leave someone on the 70th position behind and take his/her place.
After admission due to language problems , a translator is provided in some institutions(however not everyone will have privilege for these some institutions may give this.
Hope this will be helpful for you.
