• Students Team of 5 students of B.Plan and M.plan along with 3 faculty Represented Lovely Professional University at CEPT University at National Academia Conclave on Urban Sanitation conducted by NIUA and CEPT University in Which 2 student Posters were selected for presentation and other competitions in which one student become part of winning Team.
• Architecture Students working on Live Project of Geographic Information Survey of Nawanshahr City Property and Amenities. The project is to map the physical infrastructure of the city.
• Architecture students applauded by media for documenting and listing of heritage buildings of Doaba region. The documentation of Sarai Noormahal has already been done by students and the whole listing of heritage buildings in Jalandhar and Doaba region is expected to take four to five months.
• Department of Urban Planning has conducted a series of workshops and expert lectures as part of the “Academia Engagement on Decentralized Sanitation” under Sanitation Capacity Building Platform of National Institute of Urban Affairs, an apex research body of Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, New Delhi

• Ameen Mirza (B.Arch, Batch 2014-2019) got placed with a package of INR 348000 annually in Qatar Design Consortium- a leading Consultancy firm offering high quality services in Architecture, Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management / Supervision, Environmental Engineering and Management Consultancy
• Manoj Sikhakolli (B.Arch, Batch 2014-2019) has been placed for internship in Benz and Zeigler, Germany with a package of INR 713616 annually. Benz and Zeigler have worked like Redevelopment City Centre, Laupheim, Germany in it’s project list.
• Anushka Sharma ( B.Arch, Batch 2014-2019) has been placed for internship in Dharamalya institute of compassionate living. Didi Contractor- a Renowned architect and a Lifetime Achievement Awardee, specializing in traditional eco-friendly earthen construction methods of the Himalayas is one of the key advisors of the institute.
• Mohammad Laraib (B.Arch, Batch 2013-2018) got placed with a package of INR 4.5 lakh annually in Dharam Consulting- a US based MNC with offices in Mohali, Boston, New York, and Philadelphia.
• Mr. Mohd. Harsh (Student of B.Plan, Batch 2013-2017) posted as Project Associate in All India Institute of Local Self Government, Srinagar, Jammu, and Kashmir.

Architects design homes and buildings and LPU designs the architects' future such is the course of B Arch at LPU. This five-year full-time program is a blend of theoretical and practical knowledge for students to learn the art of planning, designing, and constructing physical structures of various kinds.

At LPU the course design is cutting edge. It deals with topics like comprehending design approach and inter-relationship of function, circulation, structure, material and construction, climatology, services, form, aesthetics, and knowledge inbuilt environment. Interpret the facet of architectural design and urban realm context through schematic drawings, project reports, physical models, and 3 D visualizations.

Analyze and appraise through research, various aspects of anthropometry, building technology, materials, structural analysis and design, history, art, culture, humanities, landscape, assessment methods, architectural computation, and management of resources. Evaluate legal and regulatory framework for application in planning and design of architectural and urban scale projects.

The best part is exceptionally talented students can get scholarships by attempting LPUNEST up to 45 percent of the program fee. Approved by COA (Council of Architecture, New Delhi) B Arch at LPU is a sought-after program. It even has an International Exposure Option. Students may be given an option to go for a 4 weeks study tour to USA/ European countries or any other country as decided by the University subject to conditions. There is an option of Semester Exchange in which a student may be given an option to join a partner or receive university abroad for a semester as decided by the University subject to conditions. The highest package last year was 7.44 LPA and the average was 5.6 LPA.

Yes, LPU is a good Univeristy, it has a ranking of 12th place by NIRF 2021.

It has a overall student rating of 4.4/5.

It is also said that it comes under the top 10 institutions for architecture.

The campus is spread over 600 acres and it is beautifully built in a way providing a very good infrastructure to its students and a wonderful studying environment for them.

Lecturers offer high qualitative education to their students, which makes it easier for them in understanding of the concepts.
