Is lucknow university good for mechanical engineering?
Hi nick,
Lucknow University offers a wide range of courses .
From 2018 onwards it has started offering new one i.e. B.tech
Since it is a new course , therefore nothing can be said about placements** , obviously no alumni network** , new teaching staff and professors , you will have to work harder than your friends in other reputed colleges etc etc.
As we know, college plays a great role in providing placements and providing you a safe career .
But what if you are in a top IIT or NIT and you are not willing to study . Not paying attention to your career . Obviously you will fail. The point is no matter where you are just do your best** . And prepare for where you want to see yourself at the end of the course’s final year… may be you can prepare for GATE, IES or whatever you want.
The truth is “your career depends on you” . Although college has a great role to play. But , if you have strong will power nothing can stop you from achieving great things.
At the end what i would like to say is, look for the better options and if you have no other options left . There is really no shame in joining LU if you have promised yourself to be determined and hard working. So take smart decision .

will offer engineering courses in five streams from the new academic session. Admissions would be done through
Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination
(UPSEE) in which LU will fall under the category of government self-finance college.
Every stream will have 60 seats each. A committee has been formed which will prepare the project report to run the courses in the universitys second campus. The report will also list out the course content, laboratory and other needs to run the courses, said LU vice-chancellor S P Singh. The syllabus will be prepared as per industry needs and the university infrastructure will be improved as per the requirement, he added.
BUT STILL IT IS NEW YOU CAN TRY SOME OTHER UNIVERSITY.
