Is maharashtra domicile mandatory for admission in coep even if I have appeared for mhtcet?(I am from other state)
No it is not the case that you need Maharashtra domicile for admission in coep . There is a quota for domiciled students but not a eligibility criteria.
Also there is AIQ (ALL INDIA QUOTA) for students all over India .
So you can apply too . But your rank and score must be really very high to secure a seat .
As lakhs of children apply for Coep .
Hope this was helpful .
