is making shorts notes necessary or reading again and again biology ncert good beacuse short notes does not contain all the lines of biology ( as every line is important ) , suggest me pls
Dear Aspirant,
Hope you are doing well,
First, read the whole book thoroughly and then sum up all the points as per your convenience so that you can remember what I had studied, shorthand saves time as you had studied earlier and know the full meaning of short terms that you had made.
For the first time reading short notes will not help you, but reading the whole concept thoroughly will help, and reading after some time again as you may not remember the whole things after some time as our mind is not so sharp that it can remember the whole things.
Hope it was helpful and you get the point.
All The Best.
I have a counter question that while mock test what is the reason of not getting 340+ marks ?
If answer is due to short notes then obviously go for short notes.
But if your answer is due to NCERT line then it you should avoid wasting time in making short notes.
According to me there is no need to make short notes as after giving numerous mock tests there will be no use of short notes as whatever you will be mentioning in your are highlighted points which already got memorized after revising NCERT biology or through coaching notes.
Most questions which are either unattempted or mistaken generally comes from deep NCERT lines. Those important points of which short notes would be made are always correct and even board students can also answer easily.
If you want to know importance of NCERT biology revision vs short notes revision then you can refer to NEET 2022 questions. This will give you better idea.
Also my experience says that it becomes easier to answer questions when you revise from NCERT biology but need is that you should have understood chapter thoroughly.
Fail, Rise, Fail, Rise , keep trying, never surrender.
Good luck
