The Haryana State Legislature Act of 2014 established Manav Rachna University, Faridabad, as a private university. The Manav Rachna College of Engineering has evolved into the University (MRCE). The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) both have grade-A accreditation for the institute. Engineering and technology, business, management studies, law, economics, education, and other fields are all offered at MRU in Faridabad.

The institution provides admission for programs that have been accredited by the NCTE, the Bar Council of India (BCI), and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
