These days internet has also emerged as a key player in this sector. Some lucrative job opportunities are associated with these forms of media. Radio channels TV channels, and online portals are the best places where one may find a job.Though print media forms like Newspapers and magazines have been overtaken by the electronic media, candidates still do enjoy decent consumption. Hey!

Yes, you can pursue a Mass Comm degree since your career goal is to become a Content Writer. Mostly all print or digital organisations requires Content Writer either with a Degree in English (hns) or Mass Comm. It teaches about writing for different mediums, content strategies and techniques for gathering news.
One suggestion though, besides a two year Masters degree in Mass Comm you can go for a PG Diploma in Journalism, as this is more relevant towards your career goals. Mass Comm degree will teach you about all the sectors whereas Journalism will be a specialised study focusing on news and writing for different mediums.

Some of the top Mass Comm and Journalism institutes are,

Asian College of Journalism, Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Xavier Institute of Communication, Jamia Millia Islamia, University of Mumbai and University of Pune.
