The syllabus for CAT and MAT are not exactly same but are similar. The dificulty level of CAT is much higher when compared to MAT. So CAT preparation can suffice for MAT but not the vice-versa

No , MAT amd CAT syllybus are diffrent for the entrance exam, as well as you can not use the same book for the prepration of entrance exam. As the syllybus are totaly diffrent in both of the exams.  You can check the pattern of the exam on career 360. All the best have a great future ahead.
