Is math compulsory to take admission in b pharmacy in jadavpur university?

B Pharmacy is a 4 year undergraduate course which deals with the structure and therapeutic uses of drugs
As we all know pharmacy is not a related with maths.
So for taking admission in jadavpur university for pharmacy maths is not compulsory .you can take admission with PCB subjects.
If you are taking admission in bpharm then in your 1st sem you will get remedial maths as a subject because you don't have maths in 12th . So you get some idea about maths numerical which you can apply in in pharmacy subjects like pharmaceutics and cology.

This is in regards with my brother's admission.
He's rank in WBJEE is 858( PMR) and his subject during boards were Physics ,Chemistry and Biology.
Could you tell me with complete affirmation that maths is not required for admission in B.Pharm?
