For SSC CGL, Bank PO and UPSC, ML Khanna would suffice. For CAT however it is highly recommended you follow Arun Sharma's books. Infact if you follow Arun Sharma, it would help you in all the competitive exams. Its a very comprehensive book containing all formulas, shortcuts and concepts.
All the best!
M.L.Khanna's book is good for IIT-JEE too. It is good for the mentioned entrance exams but not necessary=sufficient ones. Get your basics right first, R S Agarwal helps. M L Khanna towards the end can be used. Not a big deal if you don't practise/complete it. For CAT, Arun Sharma series is closer.
HELLO FRIEND,
YES it is a good book but i would suggest you to refer more and more books for these exams to get good results.
