Is mathematics is compulsory in Bsc. to do Msc. chemistry?
Hello Bhawna ,
Also it is not compulsory to have mathematics for this course as eligibility criteria says that you must have done graduation ( B . Sc . with Chemistry as one of the main subjects), with a minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC /ST candidates).
THANK you
Hello,
Nope mathematics is not compulsory to do Msc in chemistry. You can choose subject combination of your choices in Bsc and at the last year of Bsc you can choose chemistry. Then try to give entrance exams like JAM in order to get good institutes for Msc in chemistry.
You can do Msc in organic chemistry, Inorganic, analytical, Physical any one of your choice.

Thank you
The Eligibility criteria for MSc chemistry states that the Candidate must have completed graduation with minimum 50% marks in subject combination having chemistry as one of the main subjects from a recognised University.
The candidate must have passed class 12th with minimum 60% marks in science stream having chemistry as compulsory subject.
So, maths is not compulsory.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!
