Hello there, mathematical concepts are required in many discipline of computer science. If you approach the subject with a non maths view all you will be left with is theory, which may help you to clear your semesters but will never make you an engineer in a true sense. So the conceptual and logical view of maths is very important in CSE. You will study algorithms, programming languages all there you need them especially.
