In most of the colleges maths is compulsory for b.com hons. But it is not necessary in all college.it depends on college.in delhi university cutoff of b.com hons. Is made on the basis of 12th marks in maths and even bhu has maths as its syllabus in semester exams.basically it is arithmetic maths which is general.

it depend on the university or college you are looking to get admission into. In DU maths is required in 10+2 standard to get admission in B.com(hons) while in IP university of Delhi maths is not compulsory to pursue B.com(hons).
So it depend on the policy of universities or colleges, some make it compulsory to have maths in your 12 standard to pursue B.com(hons) and some not.
