Hello Deepanshi,

B.A. Economics (Hons.) is a course where you will learn the definitions, scope, limitations, markets, consumers, producers, and distribution of goods and services within an economy. You will learn in depth about macro and micro economics. To sustain through this course, you will have to possess certain aptitude for logical reasoning, problem solving and mathematical abilities. But whatever you have studied till 10th grade should suffice. You don't need to study maths in depth for B.A. Economics (hons). So, about your question, 'Is maths important..?', it is to a certain degree, but it is not absolutely compulsory to take Maths in 11th and 12th.

Hope that solved your query,
