Is maths important for st. Xaviers entrance exam??.. What is the procedure and eligibility for it?

St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai conducts the St. Xavier’s BMS entrance test for admissions to its Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) programme which is a three-year degree course spread across six semesters. St. Xavier’s BMS entrance test 2018 will be held on June 2, in paper-pencil mode.
Candidates willing to appear for the St. Xavier’s BMS entrance test 2018 need to fill the application form.
The application form of St. Xavier's BMS 2018 will be available from April 15.
St. Xavier’s BMS 2018 entrance test will consist of both objective type questions as well as subjective type and have a total of 100 marks.
The result of St. Xavier's BMS entrance test will be announced in the second week of June. Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview rounds in the third week of June after the declaration of results.
First merit list will be announced soon after that for a total intake of 60 candidates for the BMS programme. The final selection is based on candidates’ performance in the St. Xavier's Entrance Test (60 per cent weightage) and class twelfth marks (40 per cent weightage).
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Candidates who have passed HSC from a recognized board can register for the exam.
- A candidate for admission in the Bachelors of Management Studies (BMS) at St. Xavier’s University Mumbai must have passed HSC with a minimum of 60 per cent aggregate.
- In case of candidates belonging to Minority category, they must have 55 per cent marks and 50 per cent marks in case the candidates belong to reserve category.
- Candidates belonging to the General Category (GC) whose date of birth falls on or after 1st June 1993 are eligible to appear for the Xavier’s BMS Entrance Test.
- Candidates belonging to the Catholic religious community and SC/ST candidates who are born on or after 1stJune 1992 are eligible
