Dear Chandrika, having Mathematics as a subject is not mandatory for IPMAT. It only helps you in cracking the exam because of the syllabus involved. Or else, having Mathematics as a subject is not mandatory for IPMAT. The eligibility criteria is as follows:

  1. A minimum aggregate of 60% in 10th, 12th or equivalent for General Category and OBC Candidates.
  2. A minimum aggregate of 55% in 10th, 12th or equivalent for SC/ST/ PWD Candidates.
  3. For General Category, the age limit is 20 years
  4. For SC/ST Category, the age limit is 25 years.

Hey there

Maths was compulsory for the exam in past but nowadays it has not necessary. But I'll suggest to have knowledge of maths atleast of 12th level as you may need that during course.

Check about IPMAT
