Hey for Bcom you can apply without maths but if you are taking honors you must have maths. Also, every university/institute has its own eligibility criteria. In SET for BCom honors maths is required. BHU Bcom hons you should have economics or maths or finance or commerce etc. So in any good institute, you should have maths but its not compulsory everywhere.

For BA you do not need maths unless you are dealing with economics as your honors paper and that is also different for different colleges, some want maths some are okay.
