Is maths of 11th and 12th standard required for clay?

Hi Rashi, generally Maths is one of the section of CLAT exams and one needs to go well in all the sections to obtain a seat in good NLUs. The Maths portion for any competitive exam is not any high level maths but the basic maths or the elementary maths which is tested. These are the topics which round about come for all competitive exams,

Arithmetic - Includes Percentages, Profit and Loss, Averages, Ratio-Proportion, Time & Work, Pipes and Cisterns, Time, Speed and Distance, Mixtures and Alligations, Simple and compound Interest, Number Systems (HCF-LCM, Recurring Digits & Calculation of Unit Digits)


Algebra - Simplification, Linear and Quadratic Equations


Geometry & Mensuration - Triangles, Circles, Polygons, solids


Modern Mathematics - Trigonometry, Probability ,Permutations and Combinations, Stocks and Shares


Speed Mathematics - Calculation Techniques, approximation Techniques, Squares and Cubes
