Is MBA(RM) from Prin Welingkar, Mumbai worth it?
Answer (1)
Hello,
Welingkar has come a long way from a lowly 82nd rank in a survey in 2001 to its current position in the Top 25, across surveys . welingkar Institute of Management is a renowned B-school trying different technological and superfluous methods to teach students experientially. so according to the official website the PGDM showed there is AICTE Approved, well ranked for the International students and their MBA is well ranked as well with UGC Accreditation to receive a credible degree. Recognized by the Governing bodies makes an Institute a recognized brand for campus placements.
The placements are decent enough, the percentage for placement remains to be around 85% placed. This year's highest package was 13.5 lacs per annum (domestic), the lowest was 4 lacs per annum, so the average is around 7-8 lacs per annum. The roles offered were management trainee, territory sales manager, research executive, credit risk manager, analyst, etc.. Huge companies like Philips, Accenture, Infosys, IBM, Nestle, etc., come to the college for recruiting.
hope this helps you !
all the best !

Thank You. I think you have misunderstood the question. The question wasn't about the institute as a whole, but it was about the feasibility of doingRural Management from Welingkar..Please read and respond accordingly.
