Hello,
Doing mechanical engineering will be best from IIT because you will get best learning skills and you will get opportunity to show case your skills. You will get job from your branch in government organisation or private MNCs.

After IIT, NIT and IIT will be best option. Why these college? Because you will get recognition plus domain based work.
If you join other college including university or government college then you have to make struggle to reach to that point. Have to work on projects , demos and participate in hackathon.
Else you will join any service company and learn technical again.
Scope is there for all branch but the right way to get a job which is related to your branch is difficult.
Hope it helps!

Hello aspirant,
With the increase in automation in modern world,
The demand of mechanical engineers is constantly declining.
The post graduation placement rate of mechanic engineers is also around 60-70% which is far less than that of CSE and IT branches.
But certainly there are some pros like govt. jobs and possibility of having a startup business is more for mechanical branch students.
But personally I would suggest you to opt for CS , IT or ECE until unless you get a IIT or NIT for mechanical.
You can always predict your collage on basis of jee main score using link given below-

I hope this helps.
