Hi dear,

Hope you are doing well!

Now let's go through your question.

As you will be knowing that a mechanical engineer uses his skills to design, develop and repair mechanical equipment, tools and machinery.

Basically a mechanical engineers combine math with analytical and problem-solving abilities to develop or repair new equipment and machines.

At least you need to know  basic math, calculus and trigonometry which are especially important math skills for a mechanical engineer.

Thank You & All the best!

Hello,Sarath

Mechanical Engineering is not "the toughest branch". You need to get this notion out of your head. Infact, if you have a basic understanding and interest in PCM which you learnt in your 11th and 12th, then Mech. Engg would be easy to you. The concepts in mechanical engineering are very interesting to learn, but the syllabus is quite huge. One cannot comprehend the vastness of Mechanical Engineering. This is where most students find it difficult.

Hope this helps.
