Even the compnies which manufactures the medical machinery needs the mechatronics engineer. Mechanical Engineering is also provide same opportunity but mechatronics engineering is growing market these days
Mechatronics is a field of engineering that combines mechanical, electrical and computer science engineering for designing mechanical devices like washing machines, automated robotic assembly lines, cameras, laser printers and photocopiers. Mechatronics engineers combine their technical knowledge with computer programming to design and develop devices that flaunt sophisticated mechanization, eminence and performance. Mechatronics at MGIT is great with good faculty and infrastructure and placements.
Hi Nikesh,
Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology provide both UG program and PG program for Mechatronics i.e., B.Tech and M.Tech Mechatronics. The duration of this course is 4 years with 8 semesters and course approved by AICTE. MGIT introduced the first Mechatronics B.Tech. Programme in Asia. The total fees is Rs.3.2 Lakhs . The highest package is around Rs.12 LPA and average package is Rs.3-4 LPA . So Mechatronics seems to be good choice in terms of job prospects.
Thank you and best of luck.
